Comments | in Announcements

Can you smell the fresh paint? The blog is still very new so bear with us while we add more content and features. Be sure to check out the ‘About‘ pages and do drop by again for updates. Happy New Year!

The details of the 4-Hour Work Week Giveaway is finally here.

We’re giving away 3 FREE copies of Tim Ferriss’ newly expanded and updated version of The 4-Hour Work Week in hardcover copy.

Some quick facts about the book:

  • #1 New York Time Bestseller
  • #1 Wall Street Journal Bestseller
  • #1 BusinessWeek Bestseller

Tip: You can read a sample chapter of the book here.

I know Life Liberation is a spanking new blog and most of you have probably arrived to this site for the first time. However, I recently purchased 4 copies of the book (in order to get an advanced copy of Tim’s upcoming book) and thought it would be a fantastic idea to kick start the New Year by sharing the original resource for ‘lifestyle design’ to those of you who are new to the concept or have been itching to get a copy.

How to Win a Copy:

The criteria for snagging your own copy of Tim Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Work Week is dead simple but requires a good deal of imagination. Simply answer the following question and post it in the comments section below.

“What is the most outrageous goal that you would like to achieve this year?”

Think BIG. Think OUTRAGEOUS! It could be to scale Mt.Everest, to travel half way across the world to a foreign country or perhaps you’d like to start a vineyard in an Italian. Let your imagination go wild.

Just make sure it is something you would personally like to achieve (even if it seems beyond your reach at this very moment) and make sure it is something real (that rules out time travel and unicorns!). This is an exercise in stretching the limits of what you believe you can achieve within the time frame of a year.

You can be as detailed about your goal as you want or you can choose to keep it brief.

Some Quick Rules

- Only 1 submission per person

- You must submit an entry via the comments section below
before the 20th of January, 2010

- You must provide a valid e-mail address (so we can contact you if you win)

- The giveaway is only for those located ‘outside’ of the US. This was decided upon in order to give the international community a chance to win. Tim Ferriss just completed his own online giveaway of the book through Facebook (600 copies) for those located within the US.

Valid entries are to be pooled together and 3 winners will be selected randomly (out of a hat perhaps!).

We will announce the winners on the 21st of January 2010.

    Hi Maverick

Funny you should mention it, one of the things I'm going to do in 2010 is climb the Everest. Another is getting a international TV crew to catch the story on tape and broadcast it, allowing me to make it into a youtube movie on which I wanna explain all steps I made in terms of preparation. To do this, I'm going to need sponsors, which I wanna attract by thanking them in the movie and maybe wearing their shirt, shoes or bags or whatever.

On top of that (you see the wordplay here? ;) ) I'm going to write a book about the whole thing and sell it in several languages on a website.
  • Wow Hugo... talk about aiming 'high'! Make it happen and it'll be your book I'd like to feature.

    Hi Wil,

For 2010, since I have already started my muse business, my goal is spend at least 2 months consecutively out of the country (canada) traveling, and my goal is to hit at least $40,000 gross profit for one month before 2011.

And then my goal for 2011, unless something stops me, is to travel the world for the entire year, never living in a place colder than 15 degrees celsius! ha!

thanks for the contest, good luck with the blog!
  • Sweet start to the entries... keep them coming in everyone. Oh and remember to type in a valid email address so you can be contacted if you win.
